Having published 'Happy Birthday' I wanted to try something similar, but larger. A book seemed appropriate and as it was my first book I titled it Book 1. I became interested in the narratives created when placing images side-by-side; images that would not normally be placed together. Most of the drawings were from sketchbooks kept between 2005-6.
