Someone Else's Holiday is from an ongoing series of 'found photo' books. I often buy 35mm cameras from charity shops if they contain film, then have the film processed. If there are enough images to create a book or narrative, I do. Authorship and the nature of the photographs are obvious questions. I don't know whether the photographer is alive or dead, whether the camera was donated as a gesture of good will or cleared out of hatred. It's exciting to know I'm the first person to see the images that someone, possibly many years ago, has taken.
