Café Royal Books Archive Seven
The seventh 100 publications from the ongoing series, which began in July 2012.
Café Royal Books publishes weekly titles, focussing on photography linked to Britain and Ireland, made between 1960–2000 — ISSN 2752-5619. This includes the work of photographers from all backgrounds, the known and celebrated, and the under-represented and unseen. Much of the work in Café Royal Books, is previously unpublished.
Each book focuses on a single body of work, and each book is part of the larger, extensive series. As a series the books provide a valuable resource into cultural and social shifts in Britain, Ireland and beyond. Subjects are wide and varied, and include youth, music, and sub-cultures, folk customs, protest, industry, place, architectural change, music, politics and religion.
This archive presents titles released between March 2023 and October 2024.
Café Royal Books are printed, and the boxes handmade, in England.
